Tom Hanley

CEO

Tom founded Nine13sports in 2012 with a vision to serve and strengthen the Indianapolis community. Over time, that vision expanded into building innovative logistics solutions focused on addressing critical needs, especially food access across the city.

Since 2020, Tom has helped lead efforts to develop and implement large-scale food distribution operations, connecting local partners, food suppliers, and community organizations to ensure reliable access to fresh and essential resources. His work is rooted in a deep passion for supporting neighborhoods across Indianapolis, using efficient, people-centered logistics to make a meaningful and lasting impact.

Tom is driven by problem-solving and continuous improvement, always looking for ways to enhance operations and better serve the community. His hands-on approach and commitment to service have helped shape a logistics model that prioritizes both efficiency and care.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys cooking, traveling, and building things by hand, often applying that same practical creativity to his work in logistics and food distribution.

Peter Lacy

Peter Lacy

Chief Strategy Officer

Peter Lacy is the Chief Strategy Officer for Nine13 Logistics, leveraging over three decades of experience in both the public and private sectors. His expertise spans acquisition integration, ERP system implementation, process improvement, and business model transformation.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Peter is deeply involved in community service. He was the founding chair of the Adaptive Movement Programs Board for IU-Indianapolis and served as board chair of Girls Inc. of Indianapolis. Additionally, he has been involved with several organizations, including Keep Indianapolis Beautiful, the Culver Academies Summer Board, Junior Achievement, and Carmel Girls Lacrosse, where he served as president.

Peter holds an MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati and a bachelor’s degree from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. He resides in Carmel with his wife and has three grown children.

Ashley Acuff

Ashley Acuff

Chief Operating Officer

Ashley Acuff is the Chief Operating Officer of Nine13logistics. Joining Nine13sports in 2014, she moved into her role at Nine13logistics in 2022, when it was clear our work in the food insecurity space was needed more than ever. Her work addressing food insecurity reflects a commitment to equity and access. Ashley has helped design and support initiatives that improve distribution networks, expand community partnerships, and remove barriers that prevent families from accessing nutritious food.

Ashley is deeply involved in the Indianapolis community as a board member of the Near Eastside Innovation School Corporation and the Indianapolis Women’s Chorus. She is also a proud member of SKL class XLV.

Ashley holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Bowling Green State University. When she’s not moving food around the city, you can find her teaching SCUBA diving, traveling around the world to SCUBA dive, playing the French horn in the Indianapolis Symphonic Band, and giving tours at a local brewery. She resides on the Far Eastside of Indianapolis with her husband.

Anthony Montor

Anthony began his journey with Nine13 Logistics in 2020 as a TeenWorks participant at just 17 years old. Following his high school graduation, he joined the team full-time and continues to grow within the organization. He is currently studying Cybersecurity at Purdue University of Indianapolis, combining his passion for technology with his role in logistics.

When he’s not working or studying, Anthony enjoys going to music festivals and working out.

Rusty Welker

Logistics Team

Rusty joined Nine13Logistics in 2020 following a successful career in school administration. He brings a strong foundation in organization, leadership, and community engagement to the team. In his role, Rusty supports daily logistics operations and contributes to delivering reliable service to our partners and clients.

Outside of work, Rusty is an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoys fishing for muskies. When he’s not in the great outdoors, he values spending quality time with his wife and three granddaughters.
